I have a 68 440 hp. I read the only difference between it and an HP2 is the shift it was built. HP was built on day shift and HP2 was built on evening shift, is this right? er cast I should have said.

I used to think that but doubt came into my mind when I noticed most of the 1970-71 HP2 engines I have seen tend to have the "six-pack" crank and rods but the few HP engines from those years I have seen didn't.
Probably just a co-incidence but something I have noticed. More numbers required for that one.
Just throwing in a thought from left field here.
Probably just rubbish.
