Neither code is valid for 1974. Depending on it's position on the tag, C11 could be the scheduled production date? If so, December 11, 1973 (1974 model year)

If you can post a photo of the tag I may be able to figure out if the C75 is actually something else? Due to paint and / or rust the tags can be difficult to read at times....

Barry, this fender tag I have right here that I am mailing to you is a 74 and this is how it is listed for comparison

L2     525
     M26  N76  N85  R11  V6X
G64  G74  J25  J54  MO8  M21
FE5   U    A57  B43  C56  G54
FE5  A6X9  000  AO8  124425
E44  D13  JH23  G4B  153519

I dont know how many fender tags you have for 74's, but I thought it might help for comparison. I never decoded it tho.

This is with the stuff I am sending you. Dwight is getting some stuff too. I should be mailing it all off by the end of the week....ALAN

If that is the position of the codes on the tag then c11 c55 c65 c75 are "G" codes.

Codes that start with the letter "G".

Instead of C11 C55 C65 C75, look up G11 G55 G65 & G75.

If you tag does show a C instead of a G for those codes, it was a mis-stamp.

G55 G65 & G75

looks strange: 3 mirror codes on one tag

525
what does 525 means on the fender tag?

I dont know, maybe Barry can decode the tag. I have owned 200 mopars or more, so I forgot what this was. Barry had to decode my fc7 m46 car for me. Now I dont have the heart to do anything to it but put it back stock minus the engine MIA

What does   L2      525 on the very top left mean Barry?

I spend most of my time back in 1970, but for '74 L1 and L2 mean assembly line 1 and assembly line 2 respectively.

The 1974 Hamtramck tags all have numbers after the L1 or L2, I have seen them range from 19 to 944.

I have not figured out what they mean. Yet.  ;)

As far as the mirrors, go, I would still like to see a photo of the tag in question if possible?
