Paint color/finish the same inside and out for 71 cuda?

I had assumed that the interior metal surfaces and exterior of my 71 cuda would be painted with the same material and have the same finish.  Now that the car is almost ready for paint, I seem to remember reading somewhere that they are different.  Should I use the same paint inside and out?
