Still waiting for my Challenger, (arrives on Friday  :woohoo: ) the sun is shining, and just had to go for a little cruizin..

So, I tryed out my 17" wheels, bougth for the Chall., on the De Sota - and kind of liked it..

Your opp. - should I live the 17" on the De Soto, and get a new set for the Challenger, or just go back on the original wheels..???

I like the original. Looks more classy and sleeper. If you use new/modern mag wheels IMO there has to be a few other items to make it all work together. Example: tints, a little suspension and ride height work, aftermarket mods/engine etc. Kind of like a Boyd (hurt to use his name) look. New age old school. Just changing tires, to me, looks like a half ar$ed effort. I mean that in a nice way of course.

Hmmm...looks interesting with the 17" wheels on there.  Not bad....  :grinyes:

The real question is what does your Challenger look like with the De Soto wheels and hubcaps!  :roflsmiley:  :scared:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I liked the original wheels best on your De Soto. Looks more like the complete package.
Like NZ440R/T said, new wheels alone does'nt look very good.

Also, i don't think that particular style of wheels look good on the De Soto.
There should be some wheels that looks better on the 'Soto.

I'd say use the old ones if its more stock, or the 17" if its got a LOT of power under the hood.  Unless you want a sleeper.
