six pack issues
« on: April 20, 2007 - 01:34:57 PM »
well got the car out on the road today and omg its pig rich.  I have a feeling the carbs need reworked again does anyone else have these issues?  It's poping every once and a while through the carbs, plugs are soaked its a pain in the butt takes me a few good weekends before things are loosened up and a fresh set of plugs every year.  :pullinghair:

Tighten the bowl screws & check the flaot level, I typically do not have a problem with them

Once set up right on your car, they will need nothing other than the typical Holley rebuilds over the course of time. Mine I didnt touch for two years.

If it's all a stock set up, sounds like your metering plate screws are loose, or the gaskets shrunk.
