Maybe they were building a wood form to add concrete in the trunk so they could jump piles of dirt in town. :smilielol:

Maybe you guys should do your homework before you laugh. Very few '68 Chargers were optioned with the rare hardwood trunk floor. This option, according to Govier, is the rarest option, next to the very, very  rare Charger convertible.  :poopoke: And the fact it has the light weight gas tank, is very rare indeed, especially in a non hemi car.

Why does HLPAG have such a bad reputation? Even if its just your oppinions I'd like to hear why. I respect your oppinions in this matter that is why I'm asking.

I was surprised the first time I flipped up the large panel that covers the center mounted spare tire well in the back of my 69 Coronet Station Wagon, yep, the entire real floor cover is plywood with a steel frame (and so were the rear floors in most other years 60's wagons I've had). All 100% factory plywood

Yikes, for having a nice exterior, it's a shame whoever he bought it from didn't properly repair the rust damages.  Chances are it was sitting at the place in Lake Villa.  They've really tried selling some aweful cars on their lot. :eek4:
