Another XV radiator brace install
« on: May 01, 2007 - 12:49:10 AM »
Finished welding this in tonight, running with a griffin 27x19 aluminum radiator. I expanded the radiator opening to fit. It almost looks like I could have got a 31x19 in there. Haven't decided if I am going to put the stock lower support back on yet.

I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

I only have a couple of pics of how bent the stock support was and the rusty area in the one photor was where the stock spot welds had broken and the sheet metal was rattling - no wonder I ever found that rattle that the car has had the last 10 years.....
about 6 hours total to where it is now (including taking the fenders/front end off) so probably 8 total from start to finish including putting the fenders and grille etc. back on.
