NZ 400's comment over in CC Galore prompted me to start this topic...

What celebrities do you know/have you met in PERSON... not yeah, so and so knows so and so through so and so... I'll start...

Tara Lipinski - professional ice skater... talked with her and got her autograph...
Scottie Pippen of the Bulls - met him at a Phord dealer and got to shake his hand...

And... this summer I'll be meeting Lindsay Lohan from the Parent Trap and Freaky Friday... now she's hott!!

I was on patrol on graveyards one night and stopped in the local truckstop for coffee. Ed 'the Ace' McCulloch and Gary Beck were there getting a bite to eat and I chatted with them for a few minutes. That was back when they were driving for Larry Minor. Also met Leah Thompson and David Carradine when they were filming a movie here.

I clear freight for U.S. Customs
So I've met or talked to on the phone
Sr Sean Connery, Billy Boat, Al Unser jr and several crew
mates, Sr Anthony Hopkins, several of those Lord of the
rings folks NZ was talking about all nice folks by the way.
On the Mopar side of things I've spoke with Darrell Alderrman at the track several times,Big Daddy, Snake, ect. I have chatted with several of the Dukes cast and
seen Jay Leno at the fling shows, but I think the only
famous guy I sat down with and talked Mopars is
John Schnieder.That guy is soooooooooo into his '69
Chargers and in a lull at the Spring Fling we spoke about
cars and parts for about 15 minutes... Nice guy!

Now only if that chick that plays Lana Lang was into
'CUDAs................................

I met Chuck Norris a very long time ago, before he was famous...very nice person.  I also met Travis Tritt about 12 years ago before he became famous, he was one of the house bands at a club my husband and I used to go dancing at.

  I remember as a kid having a "thing" for Haley Mills in the original Parent Trap. Gosh, she must be in her mid to late 50's by now  Anyway, my lone brush with greatness was in seeing the close circuit fight between Sugar Ray Leonard, and Marvin Hagler back in '87, I believe. I went to the Baltimore arena, and low and behold, a couple of rows behind me was Tom Selleck, and Super model, Paulina Poritzkova. They were in town filming the movie Her Alibi. She had her boyfriend rocker Rick Okasick, of The Cars with her. She was HOT. Tom was cool, and Rick looks like he had his face in a vise

i got john force's autograph at a car show that our  parts house sponsers...he is a cool guy.

his time was up....and they said to leave the line but john force said that he would see the ones already in line. he was telling storys &jokes....

there are some others but not a cool as him.

Wish I had a bigger list like some of you guys... as far as friends with Lindsay... when she's here over the summer... I'm really hoping.... trust me!!! I too have met John Schinder... forgot about that one.. dunno how...   his autograph is framed and hanging in my room...   I'm also good friends with Gary Schinder... he's got a dukes replica that has been touring with the Duke Boys...  got to watch a home video of John driving Gary's Charger... took it sideways down a 2 lane road then did a doughnut in some lady's front yard!!!

I've met Peter Fonda a couple of time (Easy Rider) while doing Charity work for MDA.  My wife actually drove him & his body guard to the airport.

I've also met Jay Leno at the opening of the American Motorcycle Association Heritage Museum.

Both really nice guys.  

Jay actually ran accross 6 lanes of traffic to shake the hands of some fireman that couldn't leave the fire station because they were on duty.

I am the ultimate celeb magnet...  i know/have met Twisted Sister, my parents are friends with the band, the keyboard player for Bon Jovi, ex-President Clinton (don't know if that counts), Andy Garcia's family, and the entire team/staff for the KC Dodgers, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Cardinals.  AH, the beauty of the restaurant business!!
