Restoration Q's
« on: August 13, 2007 - 03:18:42 PM »
Lots of helpful advice out there but I don't see any mention of names of Mopar restoration companies that people have used. The reason I ask is that I have a 70 Challenger RT/SE 440 6-Pack that is if my past research is correct, one of only 167 made. I am thinking very strongly of having the car restored to showroom condition, not only to enjoy but as an investment as well but lack knowledge of any competent, trustworthy, dependable restoration companies out there. I have frequented the annual Chrysler Cars at Carlisle show several times in the past, and saw one company that looked impressive, Totally Auto, Inc. Has anyone had any experience with them or of any other restoration expert(s) that they could recommend? I could use some advice/suggestions/comments etc.

Thanks

There's a guy in Middletown, DE by the name of Herb that restores MOPARS.  If you check the Mopar Magazine you will find his ad.  I think its a full page ad.

KZ, Where are you located? I specialize in Mopars and I am located in NW Ohio. I am also in the works of expanding towards the east coast (PA, NY, NJ) area within the next yr with a second shop. We are also going to offer transportaion across the 48 states to either facility. We can accommodate from drivers to full concourse restorations. The Ohio facility is 1 to 1 1/2 yrs out on availibility. The new shop may change that availibility. PM me if interested.
Cant kill the mean and ugly. Only the good die young...I plan to be here a while!!

I'm impressed with a shop near Greenville SC doing my car now.  They do some hi dollar cars, particularly hemis and 6-packs.  I believe they have also restored Cotton Owens  Daytona.   There is a blue hemi roadrunner on e-bay right now that they restored.  Being sold by some dealer in Scottsdale.  See their website at     hodgerestoration.com
