Look Ma No Cavities
« on: May 02, 2007 - 07:03:14 AM »
I may be the last one to discover this but in case you don't know about the Power of Toothpaste read on.

I've heard a couple of times about using toothpaste as a cleaner but never gave it much mind until the other day after working on the car my hands still had some ground in grime on them, as I am brushing my teeth I noticed this black crud dripping off my hand into the sink. HMMMMMM toothpaste = cleaner  :clueless: .  Well last night as I was fighting some 30 year old grease cleaning my hood latch, soaked in mineral spirits, used hot water+Dawn and while pretty clean it still had junk clinging sooo I went for the tube.  Man I guess I get excited over the smallest of things but how clean that latch came with just a little brushing & paste.   :woohoo:   Try it you'll like it.

Wonder if some Scope in the tank would take care of a clogged injector?  :sly:

Just don't use the same brush that you use for yourself. Heh.  :puke:
Drive it like you stole it.

Another trick is to cook them in the crockpot overnight...but pick up a  flea market crock for this as the wife will brain you if you use her good one.

Just an assumption  :grinno:

That's why I have an oven in my garage too. Don't wanna bake on my thermal coatings in the kitchen appliances.
