71 Cuda, custom build? Any takers?
« on: May 08, 2007 - 01:18:45 PM »
Ok so here is the deal, we have been working on a couple of custom builds this past month. We have done them in the past and we have had the perfect candidate just sitting in the corner of the shop for several months. It is a 71 Cuda that is sitting on the rotisserie in primer. The build time would ofcourse depend on options and such but typically there is about a 3 - 4 month window on all of our custom builds. If you know of anyone or if you would like to build your very own Cuda just give me a call or shoot me an email.

Thanks,
Shawn

Hey Carl, I found a 71 Cuda for you.  Its in the for sale section under "71 Cuda custom build"

I will send you a finders fee shortly.  It wont be much, just enough for me to start my resto.

  :roflsmiley: :icon16:

Seriously, if this is what you want (pretty sure it is)  hope you get it!   :swaying:   :bananasmi

I called and talked to Shawn but unfortunately at this stage they would like to build the car at their shop. Which means they won't sell it to someone as a project car. Shawn said he would ask to see if they could sell it to me.

Looks ideal, I have all the parts, just no car. I'm not sure if it's Cuda or Barracuda yet. He says in his post above "Cuda" but that might be because he's lazy and couldn't be bothered typing "Barra..." LOL. Just kiddin Shawn.....

I shall wait and see. If not, it wasn't meant to be.

Hey buddy, I talked to my guys and they really want to go the custom build route. I'm really sorry but I will definitely keep an eye out for any other potential projects. Also, I believe the car was an original 340 car.

Thanks,
Shawn

Thanks Shawn for the fast reply and the help. I need all the help I can get.
Best of luck with your custom build. I believe Willhaven (Phil) is pretty keen and "next" in line.

As soon as I know if my funding cushion will exist in a few months, I'm all over it.

I could know in as little as a week, but I guess we'll see. :misbehaving:
