I have a fixed fan on my 340. Considering converting to the clutch fan style.  It currently has a 3" spacer behind the fixed fan and about 3" of clearance to the radiator.

1) Is it worth the time & money to do this?
2)What parts / spacer / adapters do I need?

Thx

Mopar seels a 5 blade clutch fan kit , just over $100 from Mancini, it is 3-4" deep max & would fit well & be worth doing for sure

My fixed blade is 18", I see the Mopar replacement is 15.5".   I would like to get the larger 19" size like the originals.  I'd hate to get the small 1 and then have cooling problems.

Anyone have pics of the original set-up?

Thanks Kim,

Anyone have a pic of 1 on their car, so I can get an idea of the spacer/adapter needed?

U do not need a spacer or adapter, all that is needed is the fan and the unit, oh ya there is 4  5/16x3/4 in bolts holding the assambly together, + 4  5/16x 1 in to bolt it to the water pump...........kim... :canada:

Do not put a spacer behind a clutch type fan... the spacer will lead to increased vibration in the fan which will ruin the fan clutch prematurely... no good.
mmmmm.... Mopar.... *drool*
