Oh no! Moper is on this forum also. :eek7:  The car was weighed at the track with me in it last week.  I was shocked to see how heavy it was.  Take me out and it still weighs 4110.  I guess all the extras add up.  Big block, A/C, pwr brakes, pwr steering, Gear Vendors, lots of dynamat/Fatmat, spare tire, tools, chair and spare parts.

Sounds right to me  :grinyes:

The car is sweet...and having all that comfy stuff adds a ton. I have about 60 lbs of dynamat extreme in one fellow's car, and it's getting heavier every time. Stereo with big speakers, AC, Gear Venders, etc. 3" pipe weighs 24% more than 2.5", plus the huge mufflers and extra hangers. It all adds up.

We only hear about the crate motors that go bad, MOPAR wouldn't be still doing them if they didn't have a measure of success with them.

 :iagree:

While I would agree with most that crate motors are a gamble, there's got to be a higher percentage of "good" motors as well.  But I prefer to build my own motor, that way I know all the specs, know what's in there and if something goes wrong, I can pull it apart without worrying about breaking warranty or anything like that.  :working:

If we never drown we'll never know how well it tastes....So tell me how it tastes and I'll know just how well you drowned.
