72 Challenger for sale (PA)
« on: April 22, 2007 - 02:43:43 PM »
I posted this first in Moparclown's thread looking for a stripped Challenger, but I figure I might get a bigger response with a thread of it's own.

I have a green 72 Challenger parts car thats been mostly stripped. I was gonna just make a road track car out of it by putting it on a tube chassis. It's very rusty in places and doesn't have a title. I posted it for sale over at Moparnuts already. I'll be heading up to PA to get my other Challenger and bring it back down to TX after Carlisle. I want to have this parts car sold before I head back to TX from PA as I can't bring both cars back with me (don't have a double trailer). I've got a diesel and a front wheel dolly so I could deliver it within one state distance of central PA as long as I can cover the cost of fuel for the delivery. I don't belive in supporting the E-Bag pricing trends, so you won't find this car over there while I own it.

BTW: I do have L&R steel fenders for it but they're not really worth mentioning considering their present condition. The pass side fender MAY be saveable depending on your body shop skills. I also have an original R/T hood with inserts that I'm looking to sell as well. I put on the T/A hood in my avatar on the other car and don't need the extra hood. I also have some lower patch panels that I never used since I just went ahead and replaced the whole quarters on the other car instead. I also have a new outer wheel house for it as well (pass side I think?)

The price isn't going to be high on this, but I won't take any less than I can get for scrap weight for it.

I honestly can't say what condition they're in right now. :dunno:  It's in PA and I'm in TX. I was planning to just cage it and use some straight back CE rear rails so I could fit some tubs and a four link setup back there. I'll call and ask my friend to take a look at the rear rails and let you know what he tells me.

Well decide what you want for it... I probally dont need it :roflsmiley:  But if nothing else I sure theres parts I could use, even just sections here and there.  Can never have enough for parts.  Although depending on the condition, a backhalf would be cool.

After thinking about it I'd like to get about $600 or best offer for this car.

If it doesn't sell by Carlisle I think I'll just have my friend keep it in his barn till I can come back up there and get it. :dunno:  Maybe I'll just throw the drivetrain from the other Challenger into it and build a drift car. :working: :burnout:
