Well I can sleep at night knowing I have the bottom end all secure! But however I feel this is a serious issue! Since the pan dropped about a half an inch or so you cant get a reading on how much oil is in the car??? anyone else have this problem or is there some sort of special dipstick out there???

More importantly..what is your oil pickup to pan clearance? The dipstick isnt a big deal at all.

Wouldn't it make sense to just add a little more oil, so the level reads the same as it did before? It's like getting an extra ~1/2 quart larger capacity for free!

I agree Autopile can add alittle more oil probably another quart.......the dipstick was actually bending from hitting the girdle... all good now though!
