Hurst spring clips
« on: May 19, 2007 - 10:25:07 PM »
I'm a pretty good mechanic so I feel stupid asking a question this simple but has anyone had problems with the spring clips falling off their Hurst linkage? they're pretty simple but my 3-4 rod has lost one twice now and I'm wondering about bending the end up a little more or something. anyone else fight these things before?

possibly using a thin washer under the clip will help , or bending it as you suggested
I have not had that problem

For me it's benen reverse rods. I bend the strait end a hair so it can't fit thru the hole to come out.
