74 Cuda Front Brake Hoses

Everywhere I look the front flex hoses for a 74 Cuda w power dics, appear to be a 1 year only item, and quite a bit more expensive then the 70 - 73 version.

What makes these different? When was the change over?

Where is the best place to get these and is it possible to use the earlier hoses?

I have no problem spending the money, considering what we are talking about, but I am still interested in getting a good deal.

Oh and I am not looking for correct date coded etc hoses. I just want soemthing that works!

I got my hoses at NAPA, should be an easy item to order?
I also got a set from year one for the 73 not sure if they are any different, both cars have front disc brakes, 74 are power, 73 are manual, hope that helps. Rich.

cant see why power disk and manual disk would use a different hose.

I have a '73 & the Russel braided hoses only show to fit thru '72 but when I cross referenced other model years replacement parts they came out the same so I gambled that they would fit & they do.
I just compared the 72/73 to a 74 & there is a different hose # for '74 but they use the same calliper, maybe a difference in body mount or length but the price at Oreilly was not very different for rubber replacements.
If you need any info on the Russel hoses I have let me know & I can get measurements & Pics.
