I don't have anything with a SHOW finish to take care of so my experiences are with the daily driver. Last wax I tried I liked & that's Meguiars Gold Class after using their Deep Crystal polish.   Used a lot of their products and am hardly ever disappointed.     Dads Big Black Benz was pretty hazy from using the commercial car wash & came out shinny as a new penny.

I use Wizards Vinyl shine on my tires. It gives them really nice clean, new appearance, without being too shiny. And dust doesn't stick to it like Armor all.

Anybody remember a car wax commercial from back in the 80's..
Big Black guy waxing the hood on a Black car,,, leans over the hood to
look at his Gleaming ear to ear  reflection and states..
"Look at that shine" !!!

If anyone knows how I can find a copy of that commercial, I would love to have it.

I use Meguier's NXT and love it. I gave the rest of the stuff I have to a friend that sells used cars to use.

I use IBIZ. It seems to be easy to apply, remove, and gives great depth to the paint. it is used by the Corvette clubs, Ferrari club as well as the Hershey Automotive Museum. It also makes my Dodge Stratus look less like a Plymouth Breeze.

I'm just lazy... Meguiars or Mothers spray on. Neither Nikki or the Big Girl have a "show car" paint job anyway.

:swaying:    JAX WAX works great ! Use it in the sun .  Easy on and off .They have several cleaning, polishing products ,great debugging spray too! Not much  luck with Meguries unless {can't get the shadows wiped away}doing it for exercise.

I don't use Meguires because I think the owner Jerry is a complete & utter plonker. He touches more guys skin & gets in more peoples breathing space than a 10 dollar hooker, it's borderline creepy. It shouldn't matter what the person is, bla, bla, bla, I know but when he's that bad I'll spend my money else where rather than for him to use more fake tan.

Mothers does the trick or I'll often use washing up liquid, hot water and a nice soapy mitt.
If you overlook all the advertising and corny catch phrases most are the same to the naked eye any how.....

In regards to stripping off old wax or removing wax stains from plastic- TIDE will work wonders.

I use the spray detail products, like Eagle One Wipe & Shine, which also leave the plastic shinny.
