1973 Rallye Challenger Tripometer
« on: May 21, 2007 - 10:50:39 PM »
Hey Guy's.  I have a 73 Rallye with a red tenth's diget with white backing on my tripometer. All the one's I've seen so far are black with a white backing. Has anybody seen this before? Just wondering if I have an oddball here. Also, my car was made for Canada Spec's. Would that have something do do with it? Thank's, Pat

I have 2 73's. One is white with black and the other is white with red. Not sure why the difference. :dunno: :clueless:

Not sure, but I heard years ago that if the trip was red then it was a replacement speedo setup. :dunno:

Hello MOPAR fan's! In response to Mopar73340. That might be just it. The original owner of my "73 340" had the factory speedometer changed out on warrenty. The factory tag is still on my driver's door stating that the speedo was replaced at 1600 mile's and the new speedo registered 0 mile's. 73's are awesome, esspecially when you get rid of all the sufficating smog equipment. Enjoy that small block. Pat :2thumbs:
