Another Big mopar guy passed away

My uncle Russell Mason passed away wednesday morning from cancer that hes batteled since oct. or sep.  he raced a 63?? valiant with a slant six. ran the  mid 13s-14s.  he had tons of mopars some runs some don't but he was always fixing something.  he fixed his brothers dart up and put a hyd. tilt frontend on it he made ladder bars for it and painted it.  if i can get some pics of it and of the race car i'll post them.  he could weld like no other he welded all his life and he could make anything you wanted he made a harpoon gun when he was in the navy. he made his own set of pullys for his dakota.  he loved his mopars.

Its tough, Im sure.  I lost my uncle (Godfather) when I was young and it was hard then.

I hate to hear about peoples loved ones passing away, I know the feeling and just hate that others have to experience it.  Im sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear the sad news Dodgefreak, I think next to grampa's uncles are the hardest for youg guys to lose. Take care buddy.

Yeah it was\is tough but hes in a better place and doesn't have to deal with the pain anymore which is good.  i think my uncle was harder than my grandpa just because i was younger when he passed and i wasn't as close to him as i was to my uncle.  thanks for the kind words..its hard to let a loved one go but i just keep telling my self hes in a better place and has moved on.
