« on: April 23, 2007 - 06:35:29 PM »
Anyone ever use these guys. I need a front bumper for a 70 charger. I have a core but the local shops are 13-18 week wait for rechroming. Does anyone else sell the front bumpers?

I have heard about some people who were unhappy with Bumper Boyz.  I believe that they weren't sold on the quality of the work.  I haven't scene any of their work personally, so I wouldn't be against doing business with them.  I would however make sure that their work would suit me before I sent my money off :dunno:

I have a pair of their bumpers on my duster and they are crap. The one bumper is twisted really bad, and the plating itself peels, and does not have the brilliant luster it should.

Bumper boys sucks in quality. I have been very satisfied with Tri-city plating in TN. I have never been dissatisfied with their product!

They used to be real good, but I've heard that in the last few years their quality has really gone down hill. Barely driver quality any more. I've heard a lot about their chrome peeling and rusting within a few years, and that's on cars that are kept inside almost all of the time.

Yeah, the front bumper on Joe's Cutless started peeling the first time they washed it.  :eek2:
