Mopar blues
« on: May 31, 2007 - 08:17:09 PM »
I always get lonesome and bored when I go off to work for a month. Besides missing my wife and home...

I MISS MY CUDA

I have been working non stop on that purple beauty since october, now I am stuck in California for weeks and nothing seems entertaining to me.

I got the mopar blues, or should I say purple?

Here's a couple of pics of it's progress from a month ago. I have installed the dash and dash pad since then and other little things like correct studs for the 6pk breather , carpet and what not.

I had to take a short break and pay 4k for a new concrete floor and bought a new double wide for my property. Still saving for my log cabin.

Sorry but I'm breaking the bordom. My next post is a dilly about my memorial day weekend trip here. It was a nightmare.

Sorry to hear you're bored and missing your baby. :walkaway:

One good thing mate, think of the people who go away for months but come back to a Honda Civic?

Cuda's looking pretty nice Al. If you're bored just get to typing on here. I'm sure there's plenty of posts you can start, or contribute to.

The car looks sweeeeeeet and is progressing well. Just a thought, you may need to shorten those air cleaner bolts.  :roflsmiley:   Sorry I had to do it.  :nono:

Looking good Al, hang in there Mopar bud. Look through all the restoration posts here. You'll see just how far you've progressed and also be encouraged as to how she will look one day when she is ready for the cruise down the road.  :2thumbs:   :burnout:

Thanks guys. :swaying:   And the airbreather studs have already been corrected to originals.

And after the car gets painted in July, it will be an exciting first drive for me.
