Sorry to hear your plight, but I know how you feel. I lived 35 years without cable, but I just subscribed for the first time 3 months ago. To tell you the truth, cable TV is garbage and when my subscription runs out, I'm back to "regular" TV.
LB, go to Speed Channel's web site and see when they repeat the show in your area. Speed repeats everything over and over (as do many of the other cable channels). Maybe you can catch it at a friends house or have somebody tape it for you.
