Press Release - Classic Mopar 5 Speed
« on: June 08, 2007 - 10:42:15 AM »
Classic Mopar 5 Speed is proud to release the following Tremec TKO
5-Speed transmission kits to support your Mopar projects.

1970 – 1974 Dodge Challenger and Plymouth ‘Cuda
1971 – 1974 Dodge Charger and Plymouth Road Runner

Classic Mopar 5 Speed has modified the popular Tremec TKO series of transmissions to fit under the stock chassis cross members of the E-Body and later B-Body cars and retain the factory 4 speed shifter location.

These are complete kits that will convert your classic Mopar into a fun and drivable hot rod that can cruise on the freeway and still have low gears for quick acceleration.  Classic Mopar 5-Speed, an Elite Tremec distributor, ensures satisfaction because each application has been installed and tested for superior fit and durability.  Each kit includes a new Tremec TKO 5-Speed transmission, custom throw-out bearing, powder-coated cross member, custom driveshaft, speedometer cable, polyurethane transmission mount, roller pilot bearing, 5-speed shifter bezel for the Pistol Grip Shifter, factory style electrical connectors, as well as complete hardware & instructions for an at home installation.

We can support small (LA), big block (B / RB) as well as the new HEMI™ engine platforms.

Contact Classic Mopar 5-Speed by phone at (760) 438-2244 or visit them at www.ClassicMopar5speed.com for pricing and additional kit offerings.

New applications are in the works, so watch for further announcements in the very near future.

Thanks for your interest and your time.

For those of you in and near Missouri. I will be at the Show-Me Mopar Car Show in Columbia, Missouri on Saturday, June 16th, 2007.  I'll have a transmission kit for display with our new bell housing.

Stop by and say Hi!

Whats the difference between this kit and the Keisler?

From first look it appears to be the same, although I haven't looked at the Keisler kit lately. A friend from work just bought one from the same company (Classic Chevy 5-speed) and is happy with it. At least now there appears to be some competition.

Good evening;

Our kits are similiar to Keisler in offerings only.  We have started with a clean sheet and improved upon some major design issues to provide a better performing transmission.  Yes we are competition to Keisler and we will incorporate the unparalleled custom service of Classic Chevy 5 Speed into Classic Mopar 5 Speed.

Thanks for the interest!
