Well I got the phone call this morning. I have the position. I will receive the actual offer in terms of dollars early next week. So it looks like I am moving to Sunnyvale. :cooldancing:

Congrats on the job!! Lockheed Martin was one company I applied to a bunch of times when I graduated from Mechanical Engineering...I really wanted to move to California. However, I guess there wasn't much work for a graduate student from Canada..lol.

Congratulations, We have a Lockheed Martin here in Baltimore as will and it is supposed to be a great company to work for. After I received my degree I was considering a position with them. Although, I would have been involved in designing systems for the defense department. The only thing going through my mind was that I was going to be creating something that may ultimately be used in destruction. Although, I have spent my career designing systems to eliminate jobs. I like to consider it freeing people up for more productive tasks.

Thanks everyone. I am really excited, and so is my fiance. She grew up in San Jose and has always wanted to move back. I think that this is probably the best career move I could possibly make. Maybe now I will be able to afford a new Challenger next year. LOL.
