One of those glad /so sad stories
« on: June 10, 2007 - 04:44:29 PM »
I took Nikki out last nite and went down to the local Saturday cruz nite. I've only been there once before but have already made friends with the few MOPAR guys that are down there. We have also been the only E-BOD! Anyway turns out one of the guys I meet last week (69 1/2 440/6 liftoff car) is a good friend of the guy that helped me get Nikki. Any way some one else stops by that he knows as I'm chatting with (68 Runner Hemi/4sp/dana/survivor car) Anyway hes talking about going to start up his  dads cars tonite cause they havent been started in a month. I just met his dad's girlfriend and daughter like 10 minutes before.  So my buddy tells me that (his good friend)the man had a brain anurism in the shower like eight months ago and dropped dead! The other wierd thing is that the hardware store i go to for assorted nuts/bolts/ect... the guy that runs it, brothers got Mopars.... turns out  the guy who had the anurism is his brother. And that I should follow him over there cause its only about 1/4 mile from where we are.  I'm thinkin' sure why not. So we go over to a VERY CHERRY 70R/T Charger 440 4sp AND a 71 Chally R/T 383 4sp CORRECT cars. Holy moly! A very strange kinda nite but met some very good people saw some great cars and think I got a few new friends.

 :useless:
thought I'd throw that in before someone else does

Very cool Big....      Sounds like you have found a little bit of Mopar Heaven in your area.  That's always a good thing....    :ylsuper:    :cooldancing:
