Ignition coil questions
« on: June 15, 2007 - 09:53:53 AM »
What would be best for a engine-mounted (440 six-pack) coil? Oil or epoxy filled?

What's the difference between the 1.5 and 3 ohm coils that Pertronix offers?

I think I'm going with them as they offer a stock-looking coil that has the higher output.

<Edit>

Actually, it looks like MSD makes a epoxy-filled coil as well. This is very close to stock looking.

0.7 hms on that one.

I went with a MSD Blaster II coil. The black, vibration resistant one for my Sb. Peel off the sticker and you have a all black coil, if stock is where your headin  :cheers:
