Removing wiper arms
« on: June 16, 2007 - 04:07:37 PM »
Another question.... how do you remove the windshield wiper arms from the posts?  Is it as simple as prying up on them?

Thanks,
Travis

There may be a little tab you have to pull out on , although that could be the B-body I had.   Try and get a towel under the thing you are prying with so you don't scratch the paint.  If you're getting ready for paint no as much of a worry.  I used a small(tiny 4" long) pry bar and they came off easy.  There is a tool for this though.

Good luck, sounds like you are getting ready for paint!

Try pulling the wiper arms up and then lightly prying.  That should work.
