Im a newbie, ? about Organsol.....

hey all, honored to be part of the group....
in a few weeks i will be getting my baby, a 72 Chall T/A clone with 4 spd 360...

the restorer painted the hood T/A style with a organsol finish...

what is the bes to maintain organsol?  i assume no wax, but i am very very anal with my cars, paint i know about...
organsil has me baffled...

Mike,

  My hood is organisol too. Do NOT get any wax on it.  :nono: I really don't even use a rag on it. I just hose it off to clean it, and let it air dry. The fibers from a towel will get into it.  :pullinghair:

Just wash and dry. If it was applied correctly it will not grab any fibers at all, the original texture was very light. If it is rougher than it should be you can pat it dry with a towel to avoid water spots.
