Im planning on installing a new headline in my 70 Challenger, just removed the original one and all the dust and dead bugs that came with it any tips, things to watch for that i should know about, because I am doing it myself.  Any info from experiences would help... thank

Not really that bad. I did one on my 71 cuda over 15 years ago for the first time and it turned out great. Did my second one last weekend on the 70 and it wasn't too bad. Got most of the creases from the folded up headliner out. If I had it to do again I would try to steam, iron, heat, the creases out first before installing. Pick a warm day, but not too warm as you are going to be inside that car for awhile! One thing I do use are small paper binder clips from office depot. Way, way cheaper than the mini clamps you see at Home Depot. I paid $6 for a box of 144 clamps. Very easy to use and they have tons of uses for anything interior wise you have to glue.

Lay it out open in the sun and have a heat gun.   I wouldn't use a heat gun on it till you get it in though. It may shrink right before your eyes.  Before you put it in glue some insulation to the roof. I put in 2 layers of shreaded carpet padding up there. It keeps the roof heat out and lets your A/C get colder.

Yup - pick up a heat gun from Harbor Freight for $10. When heating use a circular motion and keep the gun moving. It will tighten up tighter than Dick's hat band! 

Its pretty remarkable how much you can shrink it up using the gun. Be careful though, if you get it too hot it will soften the material surface and make a shiny spot. Most of the shrinking happens during heating but I saw wrinkles continue to fade during the cooling off cycle
