solid or hydrolic lifters in my 383 engine?i'm just wondering if i need to have them adjusted don't know much about engines yet is there a easy quick way to tell thanks

typically you will have hyd lifters , pull a valve cover & see if the rockers arms are adjustable , depending on the covers on you ebngine you may be able to see through the oil fill hole

If it sounds like a bunch of marbles are rattling around under your valve covers, it's a solid!
