Who wants to Rag on Moparts???? I do... join in...!!!

I'm a member of Moparts but only to get in touch with Dr-Diff as he sometimes prefers PMs (he's that busy). I only have 2? posts, not sure but I don't post there. One thing I notice is (and I hope doesn't happen here) it's so busy over there that when you post a thread, 1-2 hours later it can be 2 or 3 pages back!?!? That sucks, many, many, questions over there go unanswered and even worse, unread!

I frequent other boards: Moparchat about once every 2-3 weeks to catch up with some old buddies, that was my first ever forum so I will always be a member there. Apart from that and my nzmoparforum I just stay here. Don't know what it is about this site but it seems to be pretty bloody calm and friendly. Now, if only they could lesson the noose on the stupid word cursor, common sense is all that is needed, besides, if someone did say a "boo-boo" it would give something for the mods to do as there isn't much policing around here as everyone's friends. When you can't say "dlcklandy" eg: thingylandy it becomes a little overkill. If we're worried about kids on this site seeing swear words ah, I think there is a lot worse on the internet LOL. The bloody thing is 80% porn sites, it's 2007 people!

Hopefully this thread doesn't get too much worse with the bashing. Kind of takes away from the classiness of the site.
I enjoy reading the race only section at Moparts, but for the most part I own E bodies and my time is better spent here than wading through pages of posts I don't care about on Moparts. Doesn't mean I think their site stinks. let's go pick on some Ford guys!

I personally go Moparts more often then I come here.  This site tends to be too slow for myself.  Moparts, and others, have some bad eggs, but I don't open posts I don't like.  And it is the internet, it is not as though it is going to hurt you.

This is a great site with great people, but why bash other sites, just makes this one seem more petty.

  Moparts?whats moparts?never been there and see no need too.the boys at d-c.com told me about this site and all though i go back there once in a while this is where it's at.got bashed there when first logged in a few times and when i came here i was thinking here we go again but the members here are a great bunch of people and see no reason to go elsewhere.  to all out there.

I met a member at a race in Morresville, NC.  Very nice guy, answered questions about his car, an FY1 70 Challenger.  I mentioned the site and he told me that he was a member and that he had been bashed for something he said about Year One.  I was almost ready to say "Are you sure we're talking about the same site?"  I guess it's possible, and I've seen a couple of people get their danders up, but i've never seen a real bashing here.  Personally, I watch what I say here because I like it here so much.

ChallengerHK that would have been me you talked with. Enjoyed meeting you and yes i mentioned my Yr1 thread and that's the reason i stopped posting for a while here. I thought some folks might be intterested in kowing that Yr1 is primarily a reseller. Great customer service, great "one-stop shopping but with a substantial mark-up. I chose to look for the originator/maker of the part and cut out the reseller mark-up. No knock on Yr1 just trying to help out folks on a budget. Didn't seem like it was appreciated.
I have a 70 Challenger R/T I have worked extremely hard on the details and getting things right. That's my challenge and I enjoy doing the research looking at original cars etc. I appreciate all mopars but my interests lie in stock restorations. That's not a primary interest on this board so I don't post much here. Very friendly folks though and very enjoyable to be around in person. See y'all in Carlisle soon!

I love my Mopars,, like all of us, and DO frequent THAT sight, but time after time I get sh*t on. Oh,, believe me, I dont even come close to
