OK,
My 2 pennies now...
I see 2 parts to this equasion. The first part is Burpin has to sell his car for tax purposes. I loved his line about God being more forgiving than the IRS.
It is generous of him to lend his car to this "idea", but if he doesn't sell it here, I'm sure he can sell it elsewhere. I feel bad in that sense, as I know the car means alot to him.
So the second part of the equasion, I think this is where people are having trouble. There are many good people on this site that can't, and might not ever be able to afford the car of their dreams. Don's military record not with standing, I think these other people have a hard time donating, wondering why he deserves more than they do. It's not like we are talking about a $5000 project here. I can imagine a few people having trouble donating to a fund where someone other than them gets a $20,000 car. You can bash me, but I know others feel this way. I just think this isn't such a great idea.
