The 69 Polara 500 is also in the garage (5 cars total), and she runs real sweet too. However she is unsafe to drive, the floors are rusted paper thin, the brakes are shot. Also I robbed her of the alternator bracket when I was putting the 72 together and an electrical condenser was taken for the Charger.

Hey 360, you live out there is dry Arizonia, know of any two door C bodies that have solid floors. I'll probably have to find two, need the whole pasenger compartment and the trunk floor as well. I have run accross a couple that were in good shape, but I can't see the logic in ruining a good car just to restore mine. I can't do that.  :dunno:

I can look around. The price of scrap spiked a couple of years ago and we lost alot of good doners around that time.

I bet 10 cents that the trunk floor is the same on 2 and 4 door cars

:2thumbs: I hate the thoughts of freight cost from that far west but there sure isn't anything here in the east. Hey, if you do locate something perhaps a lil parts run / vacation with a pickup and lil trailer. I've never been to desert country, just central and north western colorado. And I of course would have to drive through Winslow, Az. looking for that "girl in a flat bed Ford".  :roflsmiley:  Seems like Flagstaff would be a nice place to live............?

Winslow is nice because of the proximity to famous holes in the ground. Great places like the Meteor crater, Grand Canyon, Canyon De Chelly Petrified forest/Painted Desert and even Monument Valley.

Other then that Winslow is just another hay town in the high desert  :2thumbs:

We are going up there to close by St Johns for a couple of days next month   :bigshades:
