I could have swore I posted in this thread  :dunno: My first car was a 75 Cordoba, 400, dual exhaust, slapstick console, a/c, rallye dash, 3.21 sure grip 9.25, red/white top/white leather, I wish I had not ran it into the ground. Neutral drops at 4k and the car would just boil smoke all day long. My dad bought it for me for 200. I was 16 and life was a blast. Years later when I tore it down it had 906 heads on it. It was not labeled for unleaded gas.

At 15-1/2, sold my dirt bike and used the money for a down payment on my 1970 Challenger 340 4-speed. My mom took out a loan for me at the local bank to cover the balance. $1,750 total price back in 1976. I was so proud of that car. I would just sit in it for hours practicing the shifter, clutch, fiddling with lights and switches, Then I finally got my license and the love affair was on. Still have it today and will never sell it.
