In our Caravan on day one, with Rob Wolf and the Totally Auto group, One of the AAR clones had that Alterkation k-member and a 5.7 hemi.  He said he loved the rack and pinion steering but hated the now limited turning radius.   Something that you wont find out about till after you buy one.

There were Air struts on a Honda Accord that I was flipping.   The suspension leaked constantly.  You park the car for 15 minutes, raised up, come back, the car was back on it's bumpers.   I had to put 4 junkyard struts and springs back on it in order to sell it.  One leak and the whole system sucks. driving down the highway, I had to always watch the guages for the dropping needles then add air as it sank.

The power tour was a blast and I only wish I could of went on it further. I'm already wanting to try and hook up with it again next year depending on where it starts and ends up. The Mopowerd tour was a great idea along with the hot rod power tour and it brought many of the cool mopar cars out there together. I got some great pictures and I was impressed with the turn out at the Dodge dealer in Evansville, IN. Clinton it was good to meet and talk with you and as you said now you can put a face with my postings. My Challenger ran great the whole trip but I would sure like it to get better gas mileage. My wife found the whole tour idea a blast and said she would love to do it again but wants to drive my Challenger part of the way next time. Here is Robs car next to Clinton's dads Dart.

Thanks Jeff,

As you know, my car looks alot better in pictures than it is close up.  The pics don't show all of the chips, nicks, scratches, and diifferent shades of paint around my touch-ups.

My wife also said she wouldn't mind going if she could drive the Cuda.  I should have it ready next near. It will be sporting Fuel Injection,  A/C and a Sirius Satellite radio too. No O-D  for it, just 3:23s or 2:76s, even though I have a spare O-D trans.

Next year's Tour is already in the works.
Stop 1. Little Rock, AK
Stop 2. TBD

Stop-End  Madison, WI.

Planning my vacation now., See you there.

Hey Jeff,
I am glad you mentioned my father's Dart in the pic, I did not notice it a first glance.   :2thumbs:

Hey Rob,
I do not think you give your Challenger enough credit, most people (including myself) would love to have your car including all of the chips, nicks , and scratches.  Those imperfections let people know that you drive the car, instead of just letting it collect dust in the garage.

Thanks, Clinton.

I do enjoy driving my car almost more than sex.   I don't see how it's possible to have a car thats ever finished.  Some of these guys here must have unlimited funds.

I got into Mopars because I was poor, and cheap.

I believe I got a picture of every Long Haul Mopar (and may of the locals) on the trip.  If you would like to see a specific Mopar, ask me and I will search for it in my pics.

Probably time to "UNSTICK" this thread.

LONG HAULERS that registered with Totally Auto, remember that we get FREE entry into Carlisle with special display parking.  Make sure that you e-mail them.
