Console wood grain
« on: June 27, 2007 - 09:22:47 AM »
 :clueless:

What's the best method for removing the original wood grain decal on a Cuda/Challenger console chrome insert?

Also, Who makes the best repro wood grain decal?  Looking for a textured decal like the original, not some cheap knockoff.

Thanks!

I just used a razor blade scraper and sraped it off.  Got the replacements from Year One, although I hate doing business with them.

I have some self adhesive woodgrain material I got from the guy on Ebay that is selling console and Rallye dash decals. In fact, the Ebod console decal he is selling was patterned after my console plate I sent him. Anyway, I have a piece of this thats large enough to do a console plate. Its heavy material and textured.
