hello
« on: July 08, 2007 - 03:03:38 PM »
Been looking for a good mopar board, and found this one.  Lots of helpful info on here.  I am a member on LS1tech.com, and I am casually shopping for a cuda or challenger.  I currently have a 400 rwhp 99 WS6 Trans Am, that I will keep even with the purchase of the mopar.  My dad had a 69 383 roadrunner years ago that he bought new, my uncle had a 65 Barracuda 340/3 speed, that now sits out back of my dad's house for the past 18 years, and my dad has a 66 barracuda that now holds my uncles 340 in it, backed by a 727.  So I have been around mopars my whole life.  My wife agreed to hold off on the purchase of a 60's fbody for her, so I can shop for the mopar.  anyways, just wanted to introduce myself.

Can you post more pics of your uncle's 65? Is it for sale?

Welcome.  Keep up the search and good luck! They are still out there. Patience. I waited 20 yrs to find another 70 Challenger conv in good condition and in my price range. Had one in HS. Got married and started a family. Almost 40 now and I enjoyed the hunt even though sometimes it was very dissappointing. You'll find one. :2thumbs:
