Pete Rose is a hall of fame ball player and so is Bonds.

Rose did bet on his team and Bonds took roids.  No doubt about it.

Steroids are a major part of professional sports.  But in a world where us fans want to see athletes accomplish great feats for our entertainment, how can we blame them?  There is big money and fame to be made by taking steriods for some people.  If I could make millions more as a network consultant, and have people love me for it, then I would consider taking whatever was available to me.  I just don't exactly need big muscles for my job.

Steriods are very prevelant in our society.  If you don't know, then you haven't looked very hard.  I have a buddy that played for the Diamondbacks for sometime.  He and many other prospects were sent to play in Mexico to gain access to steriods.  It's the don't ask, don't tell policy but baseball knew they had a problem before they came down a couple of players.

Has anyone noticed Tiger Woods lately? Holy Cow he buffed up all of a sudden.

Mark McGuire lived near me when he played for the A's. I met / talked with him a couple of times.
Mark went from normal to huge in one off season.

Tiger looks like he just went thru the same training program recently. :dunno:

With dedication and determination, the right genetics, and the right program a person can make a huge change in a matter of months even without 'roids, I've seen it firsthand (not me, I don't have that kind of determination). :smilielol:
It's not that hard for a person who is new to body building to make great gains early on, but when you see someone who has been training for quite some time make gains like that it's a pretty good bet that it was chemically enhanced! :grinyes:

I totally agree.  Ever lifted weights after not doing it ever, or even for a little while?  You can notice the difference big time.  I hadnt lifted since high school (2.5 years ago) and I started again this winter.  Wow, what a difference.  Your muscles get bigger, you feel better, and have more energy.  It can be done with the right diet and exercise.  I have the right exercise, just not the right diet.   :bricks1:  I should work on that too.   :misbehaving:
