Hello, How do I disconnect my engine wiring harness from the cowl? Does it just pull out or is there a screw holding it in place?

There are plastic clips on the top and bottom of the connector. Just squeeze them inward, and pull. This might not be easy.

Don't pull straight out. Rock it back and forth as you pull.
