Windshield Garnish Mouldings:   Are these common part numbers from 1970 to 1974 -- will all years interchange?   Also, are they the same for convertibles vs. hardtops (again -- will they interchange?)       

Challenger outside door handles - I see references that they are different for Cuda's vs. Challengers -- is this true?   Also, if I were to get mine re-chromed -- what is the original color under the "latch" part (mine appear to not to be chromed.... but a dark color.... but perhaps just worn??

Don't know about the windshield moldings, but as far as outside door handles go, the 'cuda and Challenger handles are different from each other. As I recall, the Challenger handles bow slightly inward to follow the door sheetmetal, moreso than the 'cuda handles. I think that's the case, anyway.

The windshield reveal moldings are the same for Cuda and Challenger 1970-74. Convs are the same as Hardtops.

Don't know about the windshield mouldings, but I do know that the door handles are different numbers. What 70RTdroptop says is correct - there is a small contour difference between the two handles. But guess what? You can use the Cuda handles on a Challenger. By using 2 door handle gaskets on each door handle, the Cuda handles can be used a Challenger door.

The correct door handles for a Dodge E-body when viewed from the side are curved inward or concave - the Plymouth E-body when viewed from the side are curved outward or convex.

Thanks!     Very helpful -- Now.... on the Challenger door handles -- what about the color where you "insert" your fingers?   Is it chrome, black... or ?

If your looking for Challenger handles I would hold out and get the correct ones for a Challenger . If you just need too have them redone this iss the guy to do them. Great job and will restore them to the original with all new internal pieces.
