I call it the forgotten about era. All the rage and hype right now is the musclecars late 60s through early 70s. But there is still a strong following of the hotrods and 50s through 60s era cars. unfortunately the bulk of those of those interested in that era is passing on. I personally have plans on building a 35 plymouth. (retirement car) :smilielol:

Righteous stuff WSM....fishin, last year I went to a local all make car show and about 1/4 of the 60+cars there were pre 50's tin with mostly Hemis(426) , Vette & some crate 350s stuffed between the fenders...not much was pristine but most were built to GO...didnt notice but a couple of trailers in the parking lot.

I don't even "see" those 50s cars at shows. I know that they are there but most are invisible to me.

Prewar cars are awesome though!!  Nothing like a Willys or Plymouth business Coupe   :2thumbs:

Never liked Chebbie shoeboxes or Ford Galexies.  Guess I'm one of the few  :dunno:
