    Swapping Batteries Between Cars?

    I'm sure I'm not the first one with this idea, but instead of maintaining two separate batteries for my two muscle cars, I was thinking of just moving one battery from one car to the other as needed.  Is there any problem you guys would be aware of in doing this?  I'm basically moving  a little lower amp battery into my small block Challenger from another small block car (to remain nameless in this forum) and need to know if there is any potential problem.  Thanks, Charlie

    no problem just be careful with the cable ends so you do not overtighten them & damage them

    The only real pain is resetting the clocks and radio settings if you have an aftermarket radio. No biggie.

    I do that all the time. To make it easier, go to an auto parts store (I got mine at Advance Auto), and buy a set of cable ends that have small tightening levers on them. That way you don't have to use a wrench. Just flip the levers to remove the cables, swap the batteries, put he cables back on, and push the levers to tighten. Really works well and saves a lot of time and hassle.
