IOWA: Wanted 1971 Cuda 340 or 318 driver Up to 35K

I am new to this forum and would like to say hello everyone.  I am looking for a 1971 cuda 340 or 318 driver (non-numbers matching) Have up to 25k to spend, possibly would be interseted in an unrestored one as well.  Any help would greatly be appreciated. Please feel free to post or pm me.

You could probably get one that would need little work to get running, but will still need a lot of restoration work.

Agreed, you'd be very, very, hard pushed to find a running driver condition 71 'Cuda. Most project cars in rough shape go for $15-$25K+ Mind you, these are BS cars not BH Barracudas which it sounds like you'd accept (318).

I seen 1 or 2 318 71's on the bay in the last few days.  Great to have money waiting for a special car, but the hp ones are costly.

If you are serious about getting a 71 at a reasonable price this one wont last long

I emailed that gentleman a few days ago (reissued vin # and the tags are gone) I think the frame rails are shot as well. Really don't have the time and effort to fix it. Would rather have a rust free car or one that needs just a little work.  Would definetly be a great parts car.

Ive restored worse than that. When it comes to 71 cudas there is almost no such thing as a parts car they are ALL being restored. If you want a rust free car to start with you are looking at a MINIMUM of 25k and that car will still need restoration.
