Pic 3 owner said, "there is no screws missing anywhere the reflectors are not loose the windshield has a mild wiper scratch in the original glass!!"

Must be equipped with the super rare invisable screw and twisted reflector option.

thanks, and to teach me something, what does H mean? I was seriously considering these lesser priced cars, how do you think they would be as donor cars to start off?

Do not like the condition of the white car, too many replaced body panels, also look at the fender tag/area around the tag, is that the same car before it was painted?  If so, it looks like a lot of rust, and could be the reason for the fiberglass fenders.  No under car photos, could be wrong but I believe that he is using the "WOW" factor of the Hemi to entice the sale.

Burnt orange car is interesting, it looks good, would like to see close ups of the roof edges, back edges of front fenders, rockers and quarters and more of the underside.  Instrument panel looks too good for an original, it may be but if so it has been detailed.  Price is getting to be somewhat high and the statement about no rust is bothersome as you can clearly see that the pitting in the trunk is trying to be covered up and with a spray bomb none the less, why would you not paint it burnt orange, if you were just trying to cover the bare metal or better yet just leave it alone.  Now as picky as that may seem to be, why say one thing when it is obvious it is something else?  Are there bubbles under the paint in the areas I mentioned above or elsewhere and he does not conside it to be rust, because it has not broken through yet?   Back to the positives, notice how clean the original fender tag and the area around it is.

Reason I asked about 340 cars is the fact they are usually priced in the range of 318 cars (except T/A's) and are real pocket rockets, nice powerful engines that handle really well and are fun to drive, especially when a six pak is added.

Here is the owner reply on the white car--

Hi, the body is in decent shape.  It is not a Mopar Nationals or Chryslers at Carlisle show car.  The quarters were redone in the early 1990's and still look very nice.  Overall, the body is nice.  Here are the issues that you should know about:  The upper quarter panel by the roof on the driver side (as stated in the Ebay ad) has some filler in it and it developed a small 3 to 4 inch crack over time.  The trunk lid is a correct 1970 piece and is nice, but does have one chip on the top near the passenger side roof.  Finally, when the sail panel was replaced, it wasn't fully welded on the inside and it was rather roughly cut apart.  However, it is not noticable at all unless you crawl in the trunk and specifically look for it.  These are all minor issues, but you should know about them.  The doors are very nice and solid on the bottom.  There is a small amount of filler on just the very edges where they meet the fenders.  This appears to be to give the panels proper alignment.  When you put the steel fenders that come with the car, you can just remove the filler and be ok.  The only areas that have rust is the driver side front footwell, and a replacement patch comes with the car.  The only other area is the passenger side torsion bar cross menber - it had a small patch welded to it at some time (Small area - I have photos)  Otherwise ther is a very small area under ther rear seat on the drivers side where it meets the inner wheel well - again - very small area, I'm just trying to tell you everything.  The rest of the frame is solid and has never been crashed or bent.  This car runs and drive perfectly as it is.  I drive it all the time.  It is VERY reliable and a complete blast to drive.  YES, it does come with a 426 HEMI engine - everything you see in the Ebay ad is included

my brother went and looked at that 70 Challenger TA I posted earlier. Well, to say it was junk was an understatement. Its actually a 71 car, cloned to a 70, and then cloned into a  T/A. Needless to say he said it needed ALOT.

ive contacted the owner of this car and requested better pics, including the fender tag and trunk and underside. Any other questions I should ask?

What do you think a fair price on this car is?
