Any custom trunks...pics

Considering doing something with my trunk to clean it up a bit and maybe add a subwoofer and amp...anyone have this done?

1974 Challenger Rallye - 440+.040, 0 decked, 10.5:1, Ross Pistons, Hughes 3844 cam (238/244, .536/.540), Eddy RPM manifold, Eddy aluminum heads, Holley 750, TTI headers, .96" T-bars, IAS shocks, 1 1/8" front sway bar, 3/4" rear sway bar, XHD 6 leaf springs, Firm Feel stage 2 steering box.

curious as well. Had a couple of ideas, made a box for 2 10's and fitted in the trunk to fit under the package tray but never finished it. Ill take pics if anyone is interested.

I always wondered how they attached these molded plastic enclosures in the trunk...especially on the sides.  The only place they can bolt anything is to the floor right?

Yep I have an amp and sub in both my cars.  Here is a couple of the convertible when I was doing it.

Dave's setup is very nice! :worshippy  Once mine is finished I have some nice plans for something that'll really make a nice thump. :2thumbs:

4C, are you runnin' a bigger alternator?  If so, did you replace your dash wiring harness?

Yes I am running an upgraded alternator but didn't replace the dash wiring harness.  Really all the wires that run the system I installed.   :naughty: 

The panels are just wedged in there.

Start looking for street rod suppliers that have materials for this. Rod Doors would be a great place to start. Check out any local shows with pre '48 iron and talk to guys about who did their interior work. for that matter, take it to a shop and ask them to do it up.
