Interesting that the above pictures are of an original tank and not the reproduction tank.

I would like to know how you knew?

Hi Barry

Original radiators have depressions on the tanks, the reproductions do not.  Also many, but not all 956 radiators had the raised type "5".  I am not knocking these reproductions as they do look very good and fill a needed niche for those who do not want or can afford to spend the big dollars required to obtain an original. But as the saying goes it's only original once.

The radiators can be had with the depressions for an additional fee. Look at our original pictures. That IS the reproduction radiator.

If you send me your mounting brackets I can get a radiator in a few days. Otherwise radiators with reproduced brackets are forcasted to arrive in a few weeks.

I was just thinking something very similar.  To be able to use the top tank as a dummy overlay over an existing radiator. Hmmm :clueless: You get your stamped numbers and keep your existing radiator.

Unfortunately that question already arose. I was told they cannot be purchased seperately. But I can ask again. :)
