Instead of working on my car today, I indulged in one of my other hobbies - being a Dad - and took my son to the Goodguys Del Mar Nationals at the San Diego County Fairgrounds. There were over 2000 cars there. Of course, most were Fords or Chevys, but there were a few nice Mopars musclecars scattered throughout. I didn't see any Mopar rods or customs, save one Plymouth Business Coupe (a '37, IIRC), but there were a lot of cars I didn't see, after my son started complaining after 3+ hours of walking around.
These are just the Mopars. I took a bunch of photos of some other makes, as well as some interesting "other" vehicles, but will post them to Flickr and will modify this post with the link when I do.
First up, a cherry (well, plum!
) '71 Challenger 383 auto. The little model on the roof rotated. I like the look at the luggage rack and am thinking that maybe the one on my car will stay after all.
Enjoy!
