70' 4 speed ped assembly

Is this the correct 70' 4 speed assembly for an E-Body?

I would say no, either pedal does't seem to have the right bends in them. Check www.smsmopar.com they have good pics of all years of e, b, and a bodys.

Thanks Lunch.  They look like A-Body peds.  I tried to go cheap and I got what I paid for.   :faint:

73 -74 pedals are shaped like that , I bet they will fit no problem

Off Topic slightly, Neil, I have never driven an older manual car but is the clutch pedal adjustable? Like, is there anyway to increase or decrease pedal height? Closer to the floor meaning quicker shift or pedal time, especially for normal day-to-day driving. Can this be done or once installed that's basically it? I'm not sure if it's controlled by the clutch you use or not? Any insight is much appreciated.

yes you can adjust the ratio to achieve faster clutch release , you can shorten the upper lever on the bel crank or increase the lenght of the lower lever or both to change the release speed , but it will increase pedal pressure

  Carl if you use the Keisler hydraulic kit you can change the master cylinder bore size (larger) and it shouldn't make the pedal pressure any greater.  :2thumbs:
  I don't know what master cylinder Keisler uses so I don't know what would have a larger bore either. However food for thought.  :burnout:

actually using a bigger bore cylinder moves more fluid for the same distance the pedal is moved & will increase pedal pressure as well
