Does Anyone Here Live Close To Pooler, GA?
« on: August 04, 2007 - 05:01:45 PM »
Hey guys, the reason I ask is I'm looking into a car from that area (Pooler, GA) and would like to see if someone in that area would be willing to check it out before I was to take a short vacation to go check it over myself.  If anyone would be willing to help and lives around that area, please PM me.  I'd pay for gas to get to the guy's place and back as it's much cheaper than me driving down there or hiring a mechanic in the area to check things over. :2thumbs:  I'd just want to get an outside sources feel of the car before I go down and strike a final deal.

You know it!!!  If this one doesn't work out, someone just put up an ad for a nice pearl white one in Nebraska. (This one's red & very nice overall.)  As you can see, I'm trying to find cars outside the 'rust belt'. :2thumbs:  This one I'm extremely interested in and hope it's as good as he says it is. (A couple things to tend to, but they shouldn't be a problem for me.) :2thumbs:

If you make the trip to GA you should look into a couple of days down the road in Savannah...
historical old town with quite a bit to see & do, also not far from Hilton Head and other beaches.

We'll have to see.  I saw I'd be taking some road near Savanna, so maybe my dad wouldn't mind a slight detour.  BTW: this would be the first time I ever got down to GA and could be marked off the list of all the states I have been at. (Did a bunch of family vacations all over the place when I was younger.)

I had never even heard of Poole before.  I'll be in Marietta and driving down to Valdosta for the next couple of days getting Pixie into college.  I looked at the map...it would take us several hours out of the way.  Wish I could have helped Street.

Thanks for looking into it, Laura.  Yeah, that place is past Savanna and way to the east side of the state...It looks like I'll be making my drive down there with my dad to check it out and either pass on it or drive it back home.

I had never even heard of Poole before.
:iagree:
It is also several hours away from me too, so I won't be able to go either.  Sorry

I live near macon and drove thru Pooler this summer heading to Hilton Head.  I thought we might go again before school starts but that didn't happen.  Sorry I could help you out.

1BadFish, yes it's an R/T TT.  This one looked great in the photos I've seen, but needs a couple smaller scale things here and there in the mechanicals.  I'm hoping it is the one I've been looking for and will be able to drive it home after thoroughly checking it over.

Thanks for the replies everyone and if I don't find anyone around that area, it's fine. :2thumbs:  I feel like taking a road trip as I haven't done so since last August. (Mopar Nationals) :misbehaving:
